  • What is Daily Compounding Interest?

When the amount charged for financing purchases with a credit card is calculated every day, and that amount is rolled into the balance used in the calculation so the balance snowballs. For example, if a credit card balance is $100 and $.02 in interest is earned today, tomorrow, daily interest will be calculated using a balance of $100.02.
