Today, July 27, Credit One Bank, official credit card partner of the Las Vegas Raiders, has announced the return of the ‘One for the Community’ program for the 2022 Raiders regular season. The program will continue to support Las Vegas-based charities, After-School All-Stars and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, with $2,000 added to the donation total for every successful regular season extra point kicked.
“As a partner of both the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium, Credit One Bank is proud to have ‘One for the Community’ return for a second season. During our wildly successful first year of the program, we raised and contributed a total of $100,000 to After-School All-Stars and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. We are excited to work with the Raiders, Daniel Carlson, and the Raiders Foundation once again to support these organizations and all the impactful and meaningful work they do with youth in our community,” said John Coombe, senior vice president of marketing at Credit One Bank.
One for the Community will kick off during the Raiders first match up of the 2022 season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Sept. 11. For each successful extra point kicked by the Raiders during regular season home and away games, Credit One Bank will once again donate $2,000 to After-School All-Stars and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada. At the conclusion of the regular season, the funds will be divided evenly between both local charities.
The return of ‘One for the Community’ for a second year was announced today at Las Vegas Raiders practice with Raiders Pro Bowl kicker, Daniel Carlson, joined by local students and members of After-School All-Stars and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, as well as representatives from Credit One Bank and both charities.
“I am so thrilled to be partnering with Credit One Bank again for this season,” remarked Daniel Carlson. “After-School All-Stars and Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada make such an impact in the community that I am lucky to call home. The ‘One for the Community’ program makes every play this season even more important, and I can’t wait to do my part to support these wonderful organizations and the work they do.”
