Credit One Bank, a pillar of the Las Vegas community and one of the fastest growing credit card companies in the U.S., took part in Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada’s ‘Over the Edge’ event on Saturday, April 23, sending two employees down the 16-story Opal Tower at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, part of Curio Collection by Hilton.
Credit One Bank’s Berni Bourekas, vice president of card member administration management, and Dennis Grady, chief operations officer, collectively raised a total of $2,905 for Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada. Bank employee Ted Miller, vice president of operations analytics, stepped in to jump on behalf of Grady and rappelled down the tower along with Bourekas.
Money raised through the Over The Edge event goes towards Junior Achievement’s mission of providing financial education to students K – 12 and empowering young people to take charge of their economic success.
