Credit One Bank Recognized With Outstanding Rating From The Office Of The Comptroller Of Currency

Las Vegas, NV · June 14, 2022

Credit One Bank was recognized for their high level of community involvement and participation in volunteer efforts, as well as donating to areas in their communities that need assistance, specifically providing down payment assistance on housing to low-income families in Southern Nevada.

In June 2022, Credit One Bank, a data-driven financial services company based in Las Vegas, was one of three banks to be rated as ‘outstanding’ during the Office of the Comptroller of Currency’s (OCC) first quarter Community Reinvestment Act performance evaluations. The evaluations took place in January 2022 and looked at a total of 29 national banks, federal savings associations and insured federal branches of foreign banks, with rankings ranging from outstanding to substantial noncompliance. Credit One Bank was recognized for their high level of community involvement and participation in volunteer efforts, as well as donating to areas in their communities that need assistance, specifically providing down payment assistance on housing to low-income families in Southern Nevada.

“Earning the ‘outstanding’ rating from the OCC is a significant achievement for Credit One Bank,” said Community Reinvestment Act Officer Lenny Chide. “I’m proud to work for an organization that encourages employee participation in volunteer efforts and matches contributions that directly benefit the Southern Nevada community. We are humbled, honored and appreciative of the recognition.”

This year marks Credit One Bank’s third time receiving the ‘outstanding’ rating from the OCC, which performs evaluations every three to five years, having previously received the honor in 2018 and 2013. Last year, Credit One Bank donated $2,500,000 across 23 nonprofit organizations, including the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada, U.S.VETS, HELP of Southern Nevada and more. The Bank’s philanthropic efforts are focused on their three pillars of giving, affordable housing, employment services and financial education.
