Credit cards that offer cash back rewards have become the norm these days. Some cash back rewards cards, like the Credit One Bank American Express® Card, reward you with cash back rewards via a statement credit on every purchase you make with the card. Other credit cards, such as the Credit One Bank Platinum Plus Visa, compensate you with cash back rewards, awarded in the form of a statement credit, when you use the card for eligible purchases like gas, groceries, and telecommunication charges, such as your cell phone bill.

But did you know the percentage of cash back rewards your credit card earns you may not be the only rewards you’re entitled to? That’s right. Certain credit cards also offer supplemental programs that help you earn even more cash back rewards. What’s more, many of these programs are free to card members and considered an added benefit of your credit card!

Let’s take a closer look at two such programs offered by Credit One Bank: Amex Offers for Credit One Bank American Express card members and More Cash Back Rewards for Mastercard® and Platinum Visa® card members.

Amex Offers

Amex Offers is a program that saves you money at the brands you love and is available to Credit One Bank American Express card members. This free program by American Express provides additional cash back rewards—awarded in the form of a statement credit—on shopping, dining, travel, and more. So, with Amex Offers, you can turn everyday purchases into even more everyday rewards.

To take advantage of the additional cash back rewards this program offers, you must first add the offers that interest you to your Credit One Bank American Express Card prior to making a purchase. Once an offer is added, simply use the card to purchase the eligible goods or services from the merchant and follow any additional information posted on the offer page to receive additional cash back rewards.

Adding offers from participating Amex Offers merchants is a simple process, and there’s no limit on how many offers you can add to your card. To add an offer to your Credit One Bank American Express Card:

  1. Go to the Credit One Bank American Express website online or via the Credit One Bank mobile app.
  2. Select “Learn More” under “Amex Offers.”
  3. Browse the offers listed. If an offer interests you, select “Add to Card.”
  4. Fill out your name, American Express Card number, and email address and select “Confirm.”
  5. Repeat this process for each offer that interests you.

NOTE: Once you’ve added your name, American Express Card number, and email address for the first offer, this information will auto-populate for each successive offer you add within 10 minutes of adding your first offer.

That’s it. The offers you select will then be linked to your Credit One Bank American Express Card.

More Cash Back Rewards

Credit One Bank’s More Cash Back Rewards program offers up to 10% additional cash back rewards from thousands of merchants nationwide. With this program, any cash back rewards you earn post automatically to your account, so all you really need to do is shop with participating merchants to save.

Participating in More Cash Back Rewards couldn’t be easier since you don’t have to sign up or enroll. Just use your Credit One Bank Visa or Mastercard at one of the participating merchants in over 30,000 locations and you’ll automatically receive any rewards that merchant is offering through the program. The cash back rewards automatically post to your account as a statement credit.

While you don’t have to do anything to enroll in the More Cash Back Rewards, there is something for you to do to take full advantage of the program. In order to know where and with whom to shop in order to earn additional rewards, you’ll need to first check and see which retailers are offering what rewards in your area.

Luckily, this is an easy process. All you have to do is sign in to your account online or via the free Credit One Bank mobile app (available for iPhone and Android) and visit the “Offers” page to view which offers are available in your area. New offers are continually being added, so check back frequently to stay on top of the latest and greatest deals to get the most out of this program.
